Job SummaryServe as a technical consultant to the sales force, generating functional system descriptions, block flow diagrams and equipment lists to enable generation of customer proposals.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTranslate customer requirements into functional system designsDevelop engineering and architectural (RCP/Floor Plan) drawings, calculations and acoustical modelingReview pre‐construction design and documentationAssist with technical design, pricing and identify any logistical challengesGenerate functional system descriptions and block diagramsIdentify all cabling and miscellaneous material needsDesign wall plates and overlaysProvide material and labor estimates for projectsProvide engineering support to project installation team when neededObtain project sign‐off as neededCustomer liaison for engineering inquiriesMeet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate productsPost sales project consultationTravel to various job sites is requiredOther duties assigned as neededSkills and AbilitiesCommunicate and interact with internal employees, clients and colleagues in a professional and timely mannerProven business writing skillsProficient with test and calibration equipmentSupport user acceptance testingAbility to program, change and troubleshoot (AMX/Crestron)Ability to diagnose complex system problemsAdvanced computer skills as required for the design, configuration,
