Job Summary Are you a certified Health Care Aide looking for a stable, premium private duty role with zero living expenses? We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and certified Live-In Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an elderly gentleman transitioning home from the Deer Lodge Centre in Winnipeg.

Key Responsibilities

Mobility & Skin Care:

Managing a regular, gentle overnight turning schedule

every 2 hours





to maintain the client's absolute comfort and skin integrity.

Personal Care:

Providing dignified assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.

Safe Transfers:

Utilizing proper body mechanics to move the client safely between the bed, wheelchair, and seating.

Daily Comforts:

Preparing nutritious, home-cooked meals and managing light, care-related housekeeping.

Companionship:

Providing warm companionship and monitoring overall health and well-being.

Requirements & Qualifications

Certification:

Valid Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate (or equivalent recognized provincial care training).

Physical Stamina:

Excellent physical strength and stamina for frequent lifting, turning, and transferring safely.

Experience:

Prior experience with high-acuity senior care and overnight mobility tracking is highly preferred.

Clearances:

Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Communication:

Clear English communication skills to sync seamlessly with the family and medical team.
