The corporate accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting the month-end and year-end close processes, and providing financial analysis to support business decision-making. and year end close processesPrepare and post journal entriesPrepare and support regulatory filingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and/or operationsPrepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP and company policies.Support external and internal audit requestsDoes this sound like you?Undergraduate degree from a recognized educational institutionA professional accounting designation (CPA)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and financial modeling).3 – 5 years of related experience in financial accountingExperience in accounting and IFRS best practicesProven ability to communicate orally and in writingAbility to deliver under tight deadlines, using proven problem solving and prioritization skillsAble to work independently with minimum supervision and as part of a teamExperience with Microsoft Dynamics considered an assetAbout Us:At Associated Engineering, were passionate about not only the work we do but the communities we live and work in.
