The OpportunityBarminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. has new exciting opportunities for an UNDERGROUNDHaul Truck Operator to join our team at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. Working a FIFO rotation of 14-shifts on and 14-shifts off.Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Underground Haul Truck Operator is responsible for hauling and dumping ore and waste material from development and production sources. Performing the assigned tasks while meeting safety standards, targets and deadlines to maximize productivity and profitability.Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to)Demonstrate commitment to adhere to all Mine site safety rules, procedures and regulations, while ensuring the safety of othersSafe and efficient operation of underground haul trucks to meet production targetsObserve experienced workers to gain and increase knowledge of methods, procedures, and performance standardsDocument reports detailing work performed, problems diagnosed, pre-checks on all equipment and machinery used in the day and all other required shift paperworkImmediately report problems/failures that may impact the team, or the company, to your Shift SupervisorMaintain and demonstrate a professional and courteous relationship with employees, subcontractors, the client and all other personnelPractice good general housekeeping in the work area and equipmentMust possess AND maintain a valid Driver's License; manual transmission experience an assetUnderstand and comply with all PPE requirements in work areasOther mine related duties may be assigned by your Supervisor,
