We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Rehabilitation Worker (RRW) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support in their daily routines. In this role, you will assist with daily living activities, and promote independence within a safe and nurturing workplace. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help foster a positive atmosphere where participants feel valued and supported while living to their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Behavioural and Support Counselling
- Assist in Casework Reporting.
- Provide Crisis Management techniques.
- Provide care and compassion to ensure quality of life.
- Supervise participants within the home and community setting as applicable.
- Provide advocacy, counselling, and support for participants in care.
- Assist in preparing participants Individualized Program Plans, plans of care and or progress reports.
- Maintain participant confidentiality.
- Work effectively with team members to ensure a peaceful, harmonious environment for participants in our care.
- Prepare meals and snacks for participants following the Canada Food Guide.
- Ensure in general care and cleanliness of the home.
- Follow directives given by team leads and or casework coordinators.
- Encourage independence and provide an environment that will foster good practices in health, safety, and welfare of all involved.
- Develop appropriate opportunities for participants to socialize within peer groups.
This is a casual full time position Full Time positions with added benefits are hired internally ** Pay: From $20.91 per hour
