Lead the proposal function at CDC, responding to various prospective client requests (EOIs, RFQs, RFPs) to secure projects and drive revenue growth.Specific ResponsibilitiesCoordinate proposals from beginning to end, determining deadlines and deliverables to ensure response complianceWrite and edit proposal content, tailoring responses to the specific client and project being pursuedWrite and edit standard content used for proposals, including staff resumes, project case studies and other supporting informationMaintain a database of project and client information to be used on future proposalsCoordinate project photography for use in future proposalsCreate and update sector-specific brochures and marketing materialsResponding to award applications, when applicableThe Proposal Coordinator also supports the marketing function at CDC,



which includes:Managing CDC's social media accounts (Instagram and LinkedIn)Updating CDC's website with new project information, photos and client testimonialsAssistance in updating design of site signage, vehicle wrap and other visual branding, when neededRequirements2 - 5 years of proposal experience, within the architecture/engineering/construction industryExcellent business writing, editing and proofreading abilitiesProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign) and the Microsoft Office SuiteLegally authorized to work in CanadaSelf-motivated, proactive and organizedAdditional attributes that would be considered an asset include:Degree or Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or similarFamiliarity with digital marketing tools such as Hootsuite, MailChimp and SurveyMonkeyExperience managing content or communications in a corporate workplace
