Job Summary:Assist with general workshop activities while completing on the job and classroom-based training.Job Summary:We are looking for an Engine Workshop Technician - Apprentice to join our Distribution business in Saskatoon. will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Primarily engaged in maintenance or basic repairs/diagnosticsRequires direct supervision and review of workmanship qualityDemonstrates an understanding on access to engine repair process information sources.Understands after-treatment system and can identify major components and their function at a rudimentary level.Has worked on external components on a diesel engine and understands the basic concepts.Has some knowledge of engine diagnostic software Education, Licenses, Certifications:



Must have completed Year 2 of Red Seal /Journeyman CertificationThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Minimal level of workshop experience required or basic level knowledge of engine productsBasic mechanical knowledgeWork Schedule: Monday to Friday @ 8am - 4:30pmCompensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
