The primary responsibility is to create a positive experience for customers throughout the entire process by providing accurate estimates, clear explanations, and continuous updates. Reporting directly to the Body Shop Manager, the Collision Repair Estimator works closely with customers, insurance companies,



and the Body Shop Team to ensure customer satisfaction in the Body Shop Department.Key ResponsibilitiesPromptly greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner while determining and assisting with their needsConduct walk-around vehicle inspections while actively listening to customer explanations, concerns, and inquiriesPrepare quotes for customers with clear descriptions for the job quotedContinuously check in with technicians for repair progress, update customers accordingly and explain the work completedObtain quotes on parts and materials from outside suppliersInteract with vendors, insurance companies and business partners in order to execute work ordersResolve any customer concerns in a respectful and timely mannerAdditional duties and responsibilities may be assigned or modified as necessary throughout the course of your employment.Cultural Skills & RequirementsExceptional customer service skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize and maintain professionalism during high-volume periodsAbility to problem-solve and find creative solutionsSelf-driven to work independently with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environmentDetail-oriented and conscientious work ethicTechnical Skills & RequirementsTechnical collision repair knowledge is required (3+ years)Mathematically adept to provide accurate estimatesICAR training is an assetExperience with Mitchell estimating and PBSCommitment to continuous learning to update industry knowledgeValid BC driver's license requiredLogistical RequirementsThis is a full time position available at the Dueck on Marine location.
