Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist customers with product selection, and ensure the sales floor is well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Prior experience in retail or grocery store settings is a plus, especially with POS systems and cashiering.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Conduct product demos when applicable to educate customers about features and benefits
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to keep the sales floor organized
- Provide excellent customer service through active listening, clear communication,



and phone etiquette
- Assist in supervising team members when needed, supporting a collaborative work environment
- Perform basic retail math for transactions and inventory management

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments is preferred
- Solid communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are advantageous
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable
- Supervising experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or in person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
