TMM Projects is a locally owned First Nations contracting company headquartered in Sparwood, BC. We provide civil construction and mining services, primarily supporting open-pit mine sites throughout BC's Rocky Mountains.

Our crews work with some of the industry's largest equipment in challenging and fast-paced operating environments.

Responsibilities As a Rock Truck Driver, your responsibilities will include:

- Safely operate rock trucks in active mining and civil construction environments
- Haul rock, aggregate, overburden, and other materials as directed
- Operate safely on haul roads, ramps, grades, dumps, and other active work areas
- Work effectively around excavators, dozers, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Follow designated haul routes, traffic patterns, radio protocols, and site procedures
- Complete pre-operation inspections and equipment checks at the beginning of each shift




- Monitor equipment condition and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns
- Maintain awareness of changing ground, weather, traffic, and site conditions
- Follow supervisor and dispatcher direction while working toward daily production goals
- Maintain TMM Projects' safety, quality, and production standards
- Perform routine cleaning and basic equipment care as required
- Follow all TMM Projects and client safety policies and procedures
- Perform light manual labour and other duties as required

Qualifications We are looking for experienced and safety-conscious Rock Truck Drivers. Preference will be given to candidates with:

- Previous rock truck operating experience
- Experience operating 30–60 tonne rock trucks or similar heavy haul equipment
- Experience working in open-pit mining, civil construction, forestry, or other heavy industrial environments
- Experience working around large heavy equipment in active production areas
- Strong understanding of safe equipment operation and site traffic procedures
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 7-on / 7-off rotation
- Ability and willingness to work both day and night shifts
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Ability to successfully complete required drug testing
- Physically fit for duty and able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to perform light manual labour and repetitive tasks as required
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a crew
- Reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow direction in a fast-paced work environment
