Roofing Service & Repair Technician

Nelson Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd. is a leading commercial and residential roofing contractor providing roofing, architectural sheet metal, and building envelope solutions across Vancouver Island and coastal British Columbia. Since 1980, we have delivered durable, code-compliant roofing systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential projects.

We're looking for an experienced Roofing Service & Repair Technician to join our Service Department for the Comox Valley and surrounding areas.

- Respond to and repair roof leaks on commercial and residential roofing systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service work.
- Repair roof membranes, flashings, drains and roofing accessories.
- Communicate with customers.
- Complete work orders, take photos and fill out work orders clearly and in a timely manner.
- Follow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC requirements.

Required Certifications & Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.




- Red Seal ticketed is preferred.
- Must have commercial roofing service and repair experience.
- Confident troubleshooting and leak investigation abilities.
- Experience in commercial and residential roofing systems.
- Customer service and communication skills.

- $44.00 - $48.00 per hour based on experience
- Full-time, year-round employment
- We are a Union company (Local 276) which provides excellent wages, Pension Plan, and extended health, dental, and vision (applicable after waiting period).

Pay: $44.00-$48.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
