including for speech and non-verbal communicationSuccessfully implement the Positive Behaviour Plan(PBP), if requiredSwim program, able to swim in 50 meters, level 1 and 2Medical Procedures – including, but not limited to, Catheter, Tube feeding, Feeding and swallowing support, toileting routines or diabetic monitoring may be requiredAble to understand, implement and support modified curriculumAble to work with and support students with Autism or complex medical needsPhysically handle and transfer students when unsafePhysical ability to lift and move studentsProvide school directed indoor and outdoor student supervisionFollow all relevant health and safety requirements as directed by supervisorEmployee is expected to work with behaviours related/associated with conduct, obsessive/compulsive, trauma and stress related, severe chronic depressive, feeding and/or eating disorders etc. Other behaviours related to ADHD, emotional/behavioural, learning and speech & language-related disabilities, etc may be encountered.The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check.
