Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead our service department. This is a hands‐on leadership position responsible for driving profitability, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring safe, high‐quality roofing repairs and maintenance on commercial projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, train, and supervise the service department team (technicians, foremen, and support staff)Generate sales through customer relationships, prospecting, and preparing competitive proposalsOversee all service work from initial call → estimate → repair/maintenance → billing and follow‐upSchedule and dispatch crews, manage workflow, track job costs, and ensure projects stay on budgetMaintain strong communication with customers, crews, production teams, and managementEnforce strict adherence to company and OSHA safety standardsRecruit, train, mentor, and retain a skilled and dependable service workforceMonitor department finances: review job costs, approve invoicing, manage receivables, and control budgetsStay current on roofing systems, materials, codes, and industry best practicesDaily TasksMeet with technicians to plan the day's workVisit job sites to ensure quality and safetyHandle customer calls, perform roof inspections,



and sell service agreements/repairsBuild estimates and proposalsCoordinate material orders and equipment needsReview time sheets, job costs, and invoicesRequired QualificationsMinimum 3 years of commercial roofing production/supervision experienceValid driver's license and clean driving recordStrong understanding of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Metal, etc.)Proven safety leadership and knowledge of IHSA regulationsProficient with technology (phones, tablets, CRM/job management software)Excellent communication and customer service skillsFluent in EnglishWho Succeeds in This RoleYou're a natural leader who can motivate crews, close sales, solve problems on the roof, and keep customers happy.
