Linterra Aggregates & Concrete is looking for a Scale Attendant to join our team at our quarry operation.

This position is expected to begin as a temporary role, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on operational needs and overall fit.

The Scale Attendant is responsible for weighing incoming and outgoing trucks, preparing accurate scale tickets, communicating with drivers and site personnel, and supporting the day-to-day administrative activities of the quarry.

This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, comfortable working with computers and numbers, and enjoys an workplace where they’ll interact with drivers, customers, and operations staff throughout the day.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operate the truck scale and accurately weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Prepare scale tickets and verify load, material, customer, and job information.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in the scale and ticketing system.
- Communicate with drivers and site personnel regarding loads, materials, and site directions.
- Monitor truck traffic entering and leaving the quarry and help keep traffic moving efficiently.
- Answer phones and assist with basic customer and driver inquiries.
- Maintain organized scale records and related documentation.
- Identify and report discrepancies in weights, tickets, or load information.




- Assist with general administrative duties and reporting as required.
- Follow site safety procedures and communicate quarry requirements to drivers and visitors.

Work Environment This position is based in office at our quarry and involves working in a scale house within an active aggregate operation. The successful candidate should be comfortable working around trucks, heavy equipment, dust, noise, and changing weather conditions when outside the scale house.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
