Duties may include:Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing,



and hygieneProviding mobility assistance and safe transfersMeal preparation and assistance with eating and drinkingLight housekeeping and laundryMedication reminders and medication assistance under supervisionMonitoring and reporting changes in client conditionProviding companionship, emotional support, and social engagementSupporting clients in maintaining independence and quality of lifeMaintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environmentQualificationsWe are looking for caregivers who are:Compassionate, patient, and dependableStrong communicators with excellent interpersonal skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamPassionate about helping seniors maintain dignity and independenceRequirementsCurrent registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker RegistryCompletion of a recognized Health Care Assistant ProgramPrevious caregiving or healthcare experience preferredNegative TB test completed within the past 90 daysCriminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the past 90 daysCPR and First Aid certification preferredReliable transportationFlexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekendsMust be able to speak and write English fluently (additional languages are an asset)Available ShiftsDay shiftsEvening shiftsOvernight shiftsMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityCasual and flexible scheduling options availableAbout Senior HelpersSenior Helpers is proud to be a trusted provider of in-home senior care.
