Security Guard – Corporate Site(French and English Bilingual)

Location: Downtown Toronto, ON

Pay Rate: $18.13 per hour

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Various shifts between 0815 – 1645

Language Requirement: French and English Bilingual

Overview

Allied Universal is seeking a professional, customer-focused, and highly motivated Security Guard to join our team at a high-profile corporate site in downtown Toronto.

The successful candidate will provide a professional security presence while supporting a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as the Security Guard will interact with a diverse range of individuals throughout the day.

Bilingual proficiency in both French and English is mandatory for this position.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the site.
- Monitor and control access to the facility in accordance with site procedures.
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, contractors, and clients in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular patrols and security inspections of assigned areas.
- Monitor CCTV and other security systems as required.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns.




- Prepare accurate and detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
- Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire and life-safety emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with site management, client representatives, and emergency services when required.
- Provide customer service and assistance in both French and English.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or Site Manager.

Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Fluent in both French and English – mandatory.
- Previous security experience in a corporate, commercial, government, or similar environment is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Strong observation and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic reports.
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
