Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and alert Night Shift Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, facilities, equipment, vehicles, and company property during overnight hours.

This position requires someone who is dependable, observant, able to work independently, and capable of responding appropriately to security incidents and emergencies.

The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, professional, and highly observant. You understand that security requires attention to detail, good judgment, accurate documentation, and the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with unexpected situations.

Duties

- Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify and address security vulnerabilities or irregularities.
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain detailed logs of all security activities, incidents, and observations during your shift.




- Monitor company property and oversee all activity within the premises during night hours.
- Enforce loss prevention policies by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Report any safety hazards or security breaches immediately to management for swift resolution.
- Duties are not limited, other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

- Proven experience in law enforcement, security, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during long overnight shifts while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent observational skills with an eye for detail to detect unusual activity or potential threats.
- Valuable communication skills to effectively report incidents and collaborate with emergency responders.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Certification in security procedures or relevant law enforcement training is a plus; willingness to obtain necessary licenses if required by local regulations.

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
