We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal audits by coordinating with auditors, preparing documentation, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage risk assessment processes related to financial transactions, internal controls, and compliance procedures.
- Utilize accounting software to record, reconcile, and maintain detailed financial data efficiently.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, or potential areas of concern that could impact business decisions.




- Support external auditing processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting procedures and enhance internal controls within the organization.

Experience

- Proven experience in accounting roles within the financial services industry or similar sectors.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and their application in finance.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting internal audits and supporting external audit processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software systems such as Sage50, Xero, QuickBooks or similar platforms.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data accurately.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing financial reporting and compliance.
- Prior experience in auditing processes and implementing effective internal controls is highly desirable.
