On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Cybersecurity & IT Resiliency Program as outlined below. This position will be required for a twelve (12) month term, beginning immediately or as soon as possible. The successful candidate will report to the organization's Program/Project Manager and collaborate closely with stakeholders and various departments across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and document business problems, opportunities, risks, and objectives.

- Lead stakeholder workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.

- Analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources and resolve conflicting requirements.

- Translate high-level business concepts into detailed functional and technical requirements.

- Document business requirements and high-level solution designs.

- Assess and document current-state (as-is) business processes and develop future-state (to-be) processes.

- Prepare decision-support materials and present findings to stakeholders.

- Support development of KPIs and reporting tools.

- Support project planning, WBS, RAID logs, status reporting, and other project documentation.

- Develop or support test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test scripts.

- Maintain Requirements Traceability Matrices.

- Support or lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Work with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve functional and requirements-related issues.

- Support change management, training, operational handover, and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 10+ years of experience providing senior business analysis leadership on large-scale, complex system implementations.

- Experience supporting SDLC initiatives as a Business Systems Analyst.

- Experience with both on-premises and SaaS environments.

- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, data centre technologies, on-premises networking, and cloud infrastructure.

- Proven experience conducting current-state assessments and developing future-state processes.

- Strong requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and process modelling skills.

- Experience leading or mentoring business analysts and subject matter experts.

- Solid stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.

- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed system specifications.

- Experience working in complex stakeholder environments with competing priorities.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience developing KPIs and metrics.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Visio and Project.

- Bachelor's degree with formal business analysis training, or equivalent experience.
