The incumbent will assist in development and implementation of mechanical manufacturing policies and procedures, liaise directly with other department personnel to ensure project goals are met on budget, while delivering the Eclipse vision and the Eclipse entrepreneurial culture.TechnicalWhat You'll Be Doing:Recognize problems, initiate action, assist in problem solving and evaluate results on major issue prior to releasing drawings to manufacturingReview and approve all project designs and concepts and ensure designs/concepts meet the Eclipse standards of quality, reliability and safetyDevelop and coordinate project designs through working with the mechanical engineering & manufacturing teamLeadershipGuide, direct, teach, assist and advise department staff on practical manufacturing practices and standardsGuide,



organize and coordinate assigned staff to prioritize project deliveryOversee the mechanical manufacturing to ensure project contract deliverables are metWork to specific project budgets and timelines provided by project managementPromote positive relations with partners, customers, vendors, and distributorsRecommend and consistently administer policies and procedures to enhance department operations and support continuous improvementEnforce and promote Eclipse policies throughout the entire company including Human Resources, personal development, Safety and EnvironmentalRecommend Eclipse Data Base improvements on an ongoing basis to increase efficiency throughout the companyLiaise between all departments to ensure on time delivery of purchased items and on time delivery of Eclipse machinery and equipmentWork with Human Resources and abide to Employment Standards Act and the Eclipse Employee HandbookPromote environmentally and ergonomically secure conceptual product and/or processes to ensure safety of Eclipse personnel and the customer's employeesInitiate and supervise the planning and development of project mechanical designs and order any required department materialsEnsure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Eclipse Automation Inc.
