To Apply for this Job Click HereBased in Burnaby, our client is a well-established NPO with over two decades of experience!Currently, they are looking to add an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their team. This is a 2–3 month contract role, with the possibility of extension or transition into a permanent position.About the positionReporting to the CEO, the accounting manager will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle accounting function. Some of the duties include but aren’t limited to:Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end close activities.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Develop and monitor budgets, perform variance analysis, manage tax filings, and oversee treasury functions.Support grant reporting requirements and contribute to investment and financing decisions.Lead financial system implementations, upgrades,



and process improvements.Administer payroll while ensuring compliance with BC employment standards and applicable regulations.Strengthen internal controls and enhance accounting policies and procedures.Prepare comprehensive year-end working papers and ensure compliance with CRA guidelines, funder requirements, and relevant legislation.Coordinate the preparation of internal and external financial reports, including regulatory filings.Supervise, support, and mentor members of the finance team.Ad hoc duties as needed.Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $55 to $58 an hourRequirements5+ years of accounting experienceDesignated CPANon-for-profit experience is an asset5 days in office role.To Apply for this Job Click Here#J-18808-Ljbffr
