Child care certification: Level 1, 2 or 3 is requiredValid First Aid CertificationCleared criminal Record Check (CRIM) and Child Intervention Check (CYIM)Have working knowledge and/or experience of speech and language services and supports, or willing to learnComfortable working with families and referring agencies with children needing extra supportsExperience working with children in a childcare settingAbility to work both independently and in a team environmentWarm and empathetic attitude towards children and familiesActively encourages and engages in meaningful interactions with childrenConducts self professionally as an individual, within a team and with familiesHas knowledge and appreciation of the Indigenous cultureBe available to work between the hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
