Italian Centre Shop is currently recruiting a Seasonal Cashier /Gift Basket Clerk at our Northland Village Location Northland Dr NW) in Calgary, AB.

This is is a seasonal position that will start as soon as a suitable candidate is found and will end on January 3, 2027

What you’ll do:
Provide warm, exceptional customer service
Operate the cash register and process payments, refunds, and exchanges
Take and prepare gift basket orders with creativity and attention to detail
Coordinate basket production, delivery,



and shipping
Maintain a clean, organized, and food-secure workspace
Work as part of a team while confidently managing tasks independently

What we’re looking for:
Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
Strong communication and basic math skills
Creative and detail-oriented
Comfortable working in a quick-paced setting
Previous food service, catering, or basket-making experience is an asset - we’re happy to train the right person!

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Flexibility to work early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable working in hot or cold environments and handling challenging customer situations.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
Ability to perform manual and repetitive tasks and occasionally lift up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs.) .
