The Auto Body Refinisher mixes paint, colour matches and refinishes each vehicle. The Auto Body Refinisher works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities KPIs.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEnsures consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) planInspects body and prep repairs for deficiencies that may impact the quality of the refinish process; advise production supervisor as requiredEnsures all paint deficiencies are corrected through wet sand and polishing (i.E. runs, dirt nibs, etc.)Prep surface for paint using hand and power toolsReview damage reports of the repairs to be completedSurface preparation, vehicle masking, priming,



and top coatingAccurately mixes paint to ensure quality colour match and apply to repaired or replaced body panelApply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI's (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS)Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performanceMinimum Education And/or Experience Required For The JobHigh School Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 2 years previous Auto Body Paint Refinishing experience in a collision repair facility refinish roleRequired Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingStrong attention to detail and accuracyPreferred Education And/or ExperienceRed Seal Certification is preferredI-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification)PPG Certification preferredOther Requirements — Travel, Physical Requirements, Etc.Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.Must provide your own toolsValid driver's license requiredCompensation$33 per hour, flat rateCompensation Is Commensurate With Skill, Education And ExperienceYour Success is Our PriorityWe believe in investing in our people.
