Skate Patrol & Program Assistant

Looking for a job where no two shifts are the same? Join the Port Hardy Recreation team and help bring recreation, community events and plenty of fun to Port Hardy!

As a Program Assistant and Skate Patrol, you could find yourself teaching skating lessons, helping customers in the skate shop, leading games at summer camps, assisting with community events and festivals, or helping with event setup and takedown.

The position also includes light janitorial duties to help keep our facilities clean, protected and welcoming.

We are looking for someone who:
Is hardworking, dependable and ready to help
Enjoys working with children and community members
Is outgoing, friendly and comfortable meeting current people
Brings a positive attitude and enjoys having fun
Works well as part of a team
Is willing to learn and try different tasks
