Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Material Handler will provide shipping, receiving, storage of raw materials and order fulfillment services for finished goods, materials, supplies, parts and equipment within the assigned facility.



This role plays a key part in supporting production and warehouse operations by ensuring that the right materials are in the right place at the right time.Job ResponsibilitiesLoad, unload, move and retrieve products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipmentPerform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking, checking materials, assisting in taking inventoryReceive materials/finished goods on a timely and accurate basisExamine, store and deliver materials according to established procedures and customer requirementsCommunicate and work closely with machine operators, team members, customer service representatives and other departments to ensure workflow continuityAssist customers in meeting unique storage and delivery requirementsPrepare and ship materials/finished goods in a timely manner according to customer requirementsMaintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with safety and housekeeping standardsFollow all company safety rules and regulationsComplete required paperwork and documentation accuratelyQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferredForklift certifiedAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including operating a forklift,standing, walking and sittingBasic math and reading skillsStrong attention to detail, organization, time management and communication skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team settingAbility to work the 12-hour continental shift rotationKnowledge of 5S and Lean practicesHourly Rate: $23.64 - $24.97Please note this role is a continental rotating shift (11-12 hour shifts rotating between days and nights).Why JFE Shoji Power?Shift PremiumCompetitive health and dental benefitsProduction BonusRetirement savings program with company matched pension plan
