They are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of a major Elevated Guideway Transit Project in the Greater Toronto Area.About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile transit infrastructure project and support the delivery of one of the most critical and schedule-sensitive sections of the program.Working closely with Project Management, Construction, Engineering, and Field Operations teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving project execution, coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules and project controls, supporting cost performance, and ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project milestones.This role is ideally suited for an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Senior Project Coordinator, or Construction Manager with experience delivering bridge, superstructure, elevated structure, transit, rail, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.The successful candidate will bring hands-on construction management experience and the ability to lead project teams while coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced project workplace.What You'll DoSupport the execution and delivery of a major elevated guideway construction packageCoordinate field operations, construction activities, subcontractors,



and project stakeholdersMonitor project schedules, milestones, productivity, and progress against project objectivesAssist with project planning, construction sequencing, and execution strategiesTrack project costs, forecasts, budgets, and commercial performanceManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationCoordinate procurement activities, material deliveries, and subcontractor scopesSupport schedule recovery plans and mitigation strategies for critical project activitiesLead meetings with project partners, consultants, subcontractors, and field teamsPrepare progress reports and communicate project status to leadershipPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with quality and project standardsSupport the management and development of junior team members and project coordinatorsCollaborate with engineering, construction, project controls, and commercial teams to ensure successful project deliveryWhat You BringMust-Have QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related disciplineAt least 5+ years of experience delivering construction or infrastructure projectsExperience supporting the construction of: Bridges, Superstructures, Elevated guideways, Viaducts, or other similar Structural concrete worksMajor transportation infrastructure projectsDemonstrated construction execution and field coordination experienceExperience managing subcontractors, work packages, and construction activitiesKnowledge of project scheduling, planning, and cost control principlesExperience managing RFIs, change orders, and construction documentationStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to coordinate across field operations,
