Senior Gas Scheduling Analyst

Location: Calgary, AB (On-site)

Contract: 12-Month Maternity Leave Coverage (Potential Extension)

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Pay Rate: $55/hour + 4% Vacation Pay

Schedule: 40 hours/week (rotating shifts)

We are seeking a Senior Gas Scheduling Analyst to support critical natural gas scheduling operations within a major energy environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely scheduling of natural gas transportation while providing exceptional support to customers and internal stakeholders.

This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in gas scheduling, utility scheduling, pipeline operations, natural gas markets, energy operations, or contract administration who enjoy analytical problem-solving, customer interaction, and working in a fast-paced operational environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Gas Scheduling & Operations

- Facilitate daily gas scheduling activities across a major pipeline system.
- Review nominations, confirmations, scheduled quantities, and customer imbalances.
- Monitor capacity constraints and ensure accurate capacity management.
- Meet critical scheduling deadlines in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure gas scheduling cycles are completed accurately and efficiently.

Contract Administration
- Create and administer customer contracts and amendments.
- Assist customers with contract execution and submission processes.
- Coordinate approvals for new contracts and assignments.
- Partner with account managers and customers on renewals and contract-related matters.





Customer & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Resolve issues related to nominations, scheduling, contracts, and system usage.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
- Deliver training and guidance on scheduling processes and system functionality.

Continuous Improvement
- Maintain process documentation and operational records.
- Participate in testing of system enhancements and modifications.
- Recommend improvements to existing business processes.
- Support team coverage requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of scheduling, operations, utility, energy, or related industry experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven customer service and relationship management experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous gas scheduling experience.
- Experience within the natural gas, pipeline,



utilities, or energy sector.
- Familiarity with gas nominations, confirmations, and capacity management.
- Understanding of natural gas markets and industry terminology.
- Knowledge of NAESB standards and processes.
- Experience with LINK gas management systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Geology, Energy, Economics, or a related field.

Work Schedule This position operates within a rotating shift setting that supports business operations 365 days per year.

Shifts include

- Early Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Late Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
- Weekend Shift: 7:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Additional details:
- Evening, weekend, and holiday coverage is required.
- Work-from-home flexibility may be available on select days based on operational needs.
- On-site parking is available for night-shift employees.
