You'll lead a local team, solve operational problems, and have a direct impact on service, efficiency, and how the operation performs.What You Can ExpectCompetitive compensation and benefitsStable, full-time employment with an established transportation companyA leadership role with meaningful responsibility and decision-making authorityA varied workday combining people leadership, transportation, and operational problem-solvingThe prospect to contribute to process improvements and how the operation developsA team-oriented environmentAbout the RoleThe Fleet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring daily transportation and cross-dock activities are executed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.You'll coordinate drivers, equipment, freight, and third-party carriers; oversee employees and daily performance; respond to operational exceptions; and ensure the resources are in place to meet customer and delivery requirements.The role also has responsibility for staffing, equipment and facility requirements, safety and compliance, and operating cost control.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily transportation activities and ensure delivery plans are executed effectivelyAssign and manage driver, equipment, and operational resourcesRespond to delivery, capacity, staffing, equipment, and service issuesCoordinate third-party carriers when requiredOversee cross-dock and outbound freight activitiesSupervise employees,
