Carmichael Engineering is seeking a full-time Commercial Heating technician to join its team.Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of commercial and institutional heating systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation.In this role, you will be primarily responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing hot water and steam heating systems, while supporting operational continuity for commercial and institutional clients.Please note this is a unionized position.Job Title: Commercial Heating TechnicianWork Location: Port Hawkesbury, Nova ScotiaSalary Range: Unionized RatesResponsibilitiesPerform seasonal maintenance on a wide range of hot water and steam heating systems in industrial and institutional sectorsDiagnose system issues, troubleshoot, and resolve problemsTest combustion equipment and associated control systemsDismantle defective systems and test componentsReplace faulty parts and reassemble repaired systemsTest system operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure secure and reliable performanceEstimate, order, and install materials and supplies required for equipment maintenanceMaintain accurate records of repairs, replacements,
