Position SummaryFPS Food Process Solutions Corp. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Qualified Pressure Welder (Class A) to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will perform high-quality pressure welding work related to the assembly, fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance, repair, and alteration of pressure vessels and food-grade equipment in compliance with applicable safety standards and welding codes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform pressure welding in accordance with the Safety Standards Act and the Power Engineers, Boiler, Pressure Vessel, and Refrigeration Safety RegulationRead and interpret welding procedures, engineering drawings, and technical specificationsExecute GTAW (TIG) welding on SS304 and SS316 thin‐walled piping with a high level of precisionPerform back‐purging and maintain internal root‐pass cleanliness to food‐grade standardsMaintain Welding Performance Qualifications (WPQ)
