We're currently hiring for a Commercial Glazing Project Manager for our Commercial Edmonton location. This role focuses on managing projects through all construction phases.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and manage commercial glazing estimates and tender submissionsReview architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentsCoordinate with AutoCAD/shop drawing personnel during drawing developmentWork with General Contractors, consultants, and architects to obtain shop drawing approvalsCoordinate procurement of aluminum systems, insulated glass units, hardware, and specialty componentsPrepare fabrication cut lists and shop details for production staffProvide technical support to fabrication and installation teamsReview system details for constructability and fabrication efficiencyCoordinate project handoff to field superintendents and lead installersTrack project changes, revisions, RFIs,



and approvals during pre-constructionAssist with scheduling and material lead-time coordinationQualificationsPrevious experience as a commercial glazing field installerStrong understanding of aluminum glazing systems and fabrication methods (Kawneer preferred)Experience with estimating, shop drawings, procurement, fabrication coordination (including preparing cut lists), and project managementAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural drawingsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and glazing system detailsStrong communication and organizational skillsPractical understanding of field installation methods and sequencingExperience coordinating with General Contractors and suppliersAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a rapid-paced environmentSupervisory or leadership experience is considered an assetKnowledge and experience working with Kawneer systems is strongly preferred
