(Friday pm off); Truly flexible working: 100% remote (for residents of the province of Quebec), hybrid or 100% in person, the choice is yours; Up to 7 weeks vacation per year, sick days & personal days: your well-being is important to us.Complete group insurance from day one; A contribution to your RRSP400$ allowance towards the purchase of ergonomic equipment; Life at theStudioAccess to chair massages, fresh fruit and snacks, gym, sports activities, etc; Regular presentations of projects and new developments: we keep our team up to date on all Frima developments; Close-knit, caring and inclusive teams, even remotely!Come and discover the rest for yourself!Job DescriptionWhat your weeks are going to look likePlan and monitor the project's major technical initiatives; Collaborate with technical directors, leads, and producers to translate technical directions into realistic production plans that align with the project's objectives; Analyze risks and propose solutions, in collaboration with stakeholders, to prevent delays and technical issues while maintaining a high standard of quality; Assess the impact of technical decisions on scope, budgets, staffing, schedules,
and product quality to support informed decision making; Build a relationship of trust with the partner and act as the primary point of contact within their area of expertise; Participate in project reviews and post mortems to continuously improve processes and deliverables; Ensure partner satisfaction through transparency and rigorous follow up on requests and required adjustments.Collaborate with technical directors to establish priorities for technical initiatives and ensure their alignment with project objectives; Monitor the project's technical health, particularly in terms of technical debt, stability, performance, quality, and velocity; Promote the sharing of lessons learned and effective practices with teams and other producers; QualificationsWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, project management, or any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent; A minimum of ten, 10, years of relevant project management experience in the video game industry or a similar field; Demonstrated experience on at least one AAA or AA project; Excellent understanding of software development cycles and video game production pipelines; Good understanding of game architectures, game engines, Unreal, Unity, or proprietary engines, and related technical constraints; Excellent command of Agile methodologies and project management tools; Excellent proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.What we value in our teamExcellent organizational and planning skills; Robust ability to manage initiatives involving a high level of complexity and uncertainty; Influential leadership that promotes collaboration across teams; Ability to clearly explain complex technical issues to stakeholders; Excellent communication and negotiation skills; Proactive, problem solving approach; Strong focus onresults, quality, and continuous improvement.
