Black Diamond Group’s IT Projects department has a full-time position for Senior .NET Developer.

This role is hybrid - in-office with 20% flexibility to work from home.

The Senior Developer plays a critical role within the IT Business Solutions team, leveraging Microsoft technologies to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions and support the essential applications used across the organization. This role focuses heavily on web and mobile development, as well as integration between systems and applications, and requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to see the big picture. This is a high-impact role that works with our broader IT team, as well as users and stakeholders across the organization, to ensure applications perform at full capacity and drive organizational success.





The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as .Net Developer, designing, building and implementing software solutions. They will also have experience with data management, API development, and strong skills in Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, and Azure Products, with extensive experience in SQL.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate on the development of comprehensive solution designs, encompassing software architecture and security components, and support of in-house software solutions and business systems integrations
- Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices in code efficiency and architecture.
- Engage closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translating requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance business operations, including proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of technology solutions, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- As a key member of an IT team, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Business analysts and Systems analysts, to gather requirements, understand system and business processes, and implement solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for organizational technology solutions, including software architecture, .Net, data management, security, and Cloud systems such as ERPs and CRMs.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers, defining technical patterns and designs, conducting code reviews,



and ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation ensuring clarity and accessibility for future reference.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience (3+ as a Senior) in software design and implementation, with a proven track record of delivering enterprise-level technology solutions
- Hands-on experience building .Net APIs, desktop and web solutions
- Mobile development experience (Flutter and Dart are a plus) is considered a strong asset
- Backend experience building API’s in any other language is an asset
- Analytical mindset with big-picture thinking and the desire and aptitude to grow solutions architecture skill sets
- Extensive experience with SQL
- Cloud-based infrastructure experience, including public, private, and/or hybrid cloud environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. The position will require close work with Key Stakeholders, Vendors, Cross-functional Teams, 3rd party partners at all levels to translate technical concepts into business value.
- End-to-end software solution experience: Hands-on experience in all phases, including concept, design, coding, implementation, and support
