Job SummaryThe Sioux Lookout Meno Ya Win Health Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to help support all kitchen operations to ensure quality service to all clients, patients, and residents. Dietary Aides follow requirements provided by dietary management and dietitians, and adheres to all policies and regulations for safety, hygiene, and facility food preparation guidelines. Training will be provided.QualificationsGrade 12 or equivalent preferredMust have valid G driver's license or capable of completing upon date of hire.Must have Safe Food Handler CertificationExcellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skillsAbility to work in a team workplace and independentlyMust be physically able to perform all assigned tasksApplicants must have the ability to workdays, evenings, nights,



and weekends depending on the schedule.Job DutiesFood preparation and distribution of patient and resident meals including transportation of patient meal cart to and from patient care areasMaintain food safety standards at all timesKnowledge operation of cash register an assetMust have flexibility to work shifts as assigned, mainly days and weekendsMust adhere to organizational policies and procedures concerning cleaning, hand hygiene and the use of Personal Protective Equipment in support of Infection Control measures and attend training when necessaryPhysical DemandsConsiderable walking, lifting, standing, pushing, pulling, and bendingFrequently required to lift up to 30lbs
