We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure the accuracy of our inventory through regular cycle counts and effective error correction. The Inventory Control role is critical for doing cycle counts, identifying discrepancies, and performing manual stock adjustments to enhance operational efficiency throughout the company.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESConduct routine cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepanciesAnalyze counting results and collaborate with the inventory team to resolve issuesDevelop and implement cycle counting procedures to improve inventory accuracyMaintain accurate records of cycle count findings and update inventory management systems.Perform manual stock adjustments in the inventory management system based on findings from cycle counts & self identified auditsAssist in training staff on best practices for inventory management and cycle countingIdentify trends in inventory discrepancies and recommend process improvementsCollaborate with purchasing and sales teams to meet customers needsEnsure compliance with safety and operational standards in the warehousePerform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actionsAssess, document and process/claim damaged and defective productsIdentify, investigate, correct shipping errors to and from branch transferRole may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motionOther duties as requiredSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESAttention to Detail: Ability to accurately track and manage inventory levels, ensuring records are correctAnalytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvementOrganizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain an orderly inventory systemTechnical Skills:
