Job DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of the Manager, F&B, this position is responsible for managing the guest bills with the strictest regard to rules, regulations and outlet operational guidelines while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. This position may serve at a counter, in a restaurant, coffee shop, on a casino floor or other areas. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.Key AccountabilitiesEnters guest bills into the POSCounts out change and gives to the guestExplains pricing to guests when requested for clarificationMaintains the cleanliness of the cashier stand and areaMaintains own cash float and count s cash float at end of shiftPerforms opening and closing duties as requiredRestocks potato chips, candy, etc. (if applicable)Ensures an adequate stock of napkins, cutlery, etc.; replenishes when necessaryEnsures tab le availability by communicating with bussing staffAssists with bussing duties during slower periodsLiaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departmentsDevelops and cultivates robust working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, ownership and team membersEnsures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulationsPerforms other duties as assigned or directedEducation And QualificationsHigh School Diploma; Post Secondary hospitality or hotel education an assetMinimum 1 year cash handlingPOS experienceAbility to successfully obtain a Gaming LicenseAbility to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communicationComputer literacy in MS OfficeAbout UsWho we are!GREAT ENTERTAINMENT.
