Reporting to the Director Retail, this role will assist in both Food and Beverage and Sport Shop operations.AccountabilitiesThe Retail Coordinator will work closely with Sport Shop Supervisors, Food and Beverage Operations and the Director Retail in all aspects of our retail Operations and Purchasing including but not limited to:Retail/Food and BeverageEnsuring that suggested manufactures retail pricing is upheld in all the sports shopsMaintaining approved par levels in each storeAssisting Director of Retail for annual booking ordersInventory controls & processes and inventory levels for both Food and Beverage and Sport Shop operationsMaintaining established inventories in each store to ensure we maintain liquidity in our stock based on inventory targets set by Director of Retail for each storeEntering SKU's into Shift 4 and Yellow DogAssisting the Director of Retail in completing annual OSV as neededAssist the Director in Retail in training in the following:Food and Beverage Managers,



Sport Shop Supervisors and developing SOJT'sPromotions (monthly events calendar, customer engagement activations)Customer ServiceSkate sharpening trainingMerchandizing - need to standardize between storesAssisting in the buying for apparel, prizes, uniforms and Store InventoriesUpdating SOP's and training materials annuallyInvolvement in all retail Hiring and On-boarding processesPOS trouble shooting and supportYellow Dog project lead and subject matter expertTraining current and new Managers for Shift 4 POS and Yellow Dog Inventory Management systemReviewing Secret Shopper reports and follow up with Director of RetailReviewing Steritech reports and follow up with Director of RetailMaintaining approved par levels for each restaurantWork with facilities on roll-out of Shift 4 enhancementsThe role will work closely with the Director Retail to provide leadership, counsel, advice and assistance to facility retail operations; utilizing knowledge of retail operations and staff resources in order to impact and improve sales, profits, and operating standards while protecting the integrity of the Canlan brand. Supports each operating unit in delivering on their Annual Operating Plans by improving turn rates, improving buying practices and providing outstanding customer and selling service. This individual will assist in providing ongoing training and support for Retail Managers.Qualifications,



Experience and EducationCollege or Trade School Certificate or University Degree in hospitality or Retail management or a related fieldFood and Beverage experience (Management experience is an asset)Strategic & operations orientation1-2 years Retail business experience and/or Food and Beverage, preferably in a regional or national franchise chainStrong established customer and client focusExperience with the technical aspects of retail store, an assetAbility to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines and organizational requirements effectively.Self-motivated, professional, and flexible; able to work both independently and as part of a team.Passionate.
