This will involve ongoing maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration equipment. The role requires a functional expert, someone who isn't afraid of diving into a problem and takes great pride in finding the correct answer.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and install refrigeration and heating components including motors and compressorsInterpret wiring diagrams, install,



and calibrate related controlsRecharge systems with refrigerant and perform routine maintenance checksService and repair diesel engines and related partsRepair and replace parts and components and overhaul refrigeration systemsInteract with transportation drivers and dispatchers to understand customers' repair and maintenance needsParticipates in emergency / service calls when requiredQualifications & Competencies:A strong and demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous learningJourneyman Status with Reefer CertificationManitoba Class 5 (or higher) Driver's License and a clean driving recordInterest and/or desire to learn and work with refrigerated transport units such as Carrier, Thermo King reefer/heater unitsKnowledge and/or experience working with refrigerated transport (reefer/heater) units is an assetMOPIA certification is required (employer-paid training will be provided)Arnold Bros.
