As a Software and EDA Engineer, you will:

- Implement new creative features and improvements for our proprietary EDA framework for IC design, working in conjunction with a wide range of open-source frameworks and commercial EDA software
- Develop and maintain robust software testing approaches
- Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps methodologies
- Get involved in other areas requiring software development skills, such as IT infrastructure and automated testing

You may be a good fit if you have:

- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience,



with a strong track record shipping production applications
- Deep expertise packaging and distributing Python applications for commercial use, including:
- Building installable, versioned releases (wheels, PyInstaller/Nuitka/cx_Freeze, conda, or similar)
- Managing dependencies, environment isolation, and reproducible builds across Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Rocky) and other target platforms
- Protecting proprietary code (obfuscation, compilation to native extensions, e.g. Cython) and integrating license management (e.g. FlexLM/FlexNet or equivalent)
- Setting up CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, signing, and release
- Hands-on experience building AI/LLM-powered workflows, such as prompt design, tool/function calling, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks
- Strong software design fundamentals: modular architecture, API design, testing, and maintainable code in a large codebase
- Comfortable working directly with customers or field engineers to debug deployment and installation issues in controlled enterprise environments
- Interest in applying skills to Electronic Design Automation for IC/microchip development
- The desire to work with a talented, passionate, and experienced team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EDA tool suites such a Cadence, Synopsys, Siemens/Mentor is a plus
