Steps away from the main public transit stationWhat we offer: Highly competitive compensation package which includes, base salary, bonus, benefits, and career advancement opportunities!*Eligibility for benefits is dependent on the terms of employmentThe OpportunityThe Analyst is responsible for providing administrative support and collections duties for the enforcement team with timely follow-up on delinquent payments and other arrears due by Borrowers to ensure monthly mortgage commitments are made as due. Will participate in all aspects of commercial mortgage default accounts, including tax payment arrears, monthly arrears reporting and processing of expenses incurred in default loans administration.How you will contributeReview monthly bank reports to identify payments outstanding or returned by the bankMonitor mortgage payment returns, assist in collecting on outstanding accounts, resolve return payments and identifying potential defaulting loansContact Borrowers for payment arrangements for outstanding funds and re-present pre-authorized payments within time frames set in the department proceduresIssue initial and secondary demand letters for delinquent accounts within time frames set out in the department proceduresUpdate FN's mortgage administration system (Optimus) with actions taken to resolve collectionsVerify that realty taxes and insurance are up to date on delinquent accountsCorresponding with Borrowers to obtain financial information, rent rolls,



and operating statementsVerify costs incurred in administration of default loans with accounting spreadsheets to invoice matchingPreparation of cheque and wire requisitions; deposit cheques; track monthly expenseAssist in preparation of Arrears and Discharge StatementsComplete various Arrears/Delinquency reports for Management, Investors and CMHC Assemble security documents and information packages to be sent to solicitors and various 3rd party qualified consultantsComplete Requests for Approval for Legal ActionMonitor and report on fees and expenses of all external service providersAssist in updating departmental procedures manual and document templatesMaintain and organize Collections and Default filing systemsAssist with internal and external auditsLiaise with numerous First National departments to assist in outstanding items on default files Special projects and other duties as assigned by ManagementThe experience you needPost secondary education or equivalent work experience requiredStrong computer skills - proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and ExcelProven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-taskStrong communication skills, verbal and written, with a confident and assertive telephone mannerCommercial mortgage underwriting and loan servicing experience an assetAbility to work and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholdersAttention to detailWorking Environment and Physical Demands AnalysisOffice environmentPeriods of high volume with tight timelinesLong periods of stationary position/sittingProlonged periods of repetitive movement (i.E.
