This two-person team works independently and collaboratively, engaging with First Nations, forest licensees, and industry partners to deliver practical, inclusive solutions within budget. Their work directly supports community connectivity and resource access, making a meaningful impact through thoughtful infrastructure stewardship.The RoleThis Engineering Program Specialist role is all about maintaining safe, reliable Forest Service Roads and infrastructure across one of B.C.'s largest Timber Supply Areas. Your work will directly support access to four remote communities, making a real difference in people's lives. Note: "Immediately eligible for registration" means meeting all requirements for full professional registration and completing the process of obtaining full registration with the relevant BC professional association within six (6) months of employment.About this Position:Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work 1 or more days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.Applicants who do not fully meet the required qualifications may be considered for this position, but at a lower classification.An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.Depending on the successful candidate's location, abi-weekly isolation allowance may apply.A Criminal Record Check (CRC)
