We are hiring an Accountant II, Accounts Payable to join PavCo.This is more than a role focused on processing invoices. You'll be part of a busy, cooperative Finance team where accuracy, relationships, problem-solving and continuous improvement all matter.You'll help keep payments moving, work closely with suppliers and internal teams, support critical reporting and audit requirements, and look for better ways to make our financial processes work.This is an opportunity for an accounting professional who knows Accounts Payable, enjoys working with numbers and systems, and is energized by an environment where priorities can move quickly.If you're organized, adaptable and curious, we'd like to hear from you.What You'll DoProcess a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, including timely entry into the Momentus systemPrepare and process payments through EFT, cheque and wire transfer in accordance with established policies and proceduresMaintain accurate vendor master files and supporting documentationBuild strong, professional supplier relationships and resolve discrepancies and payment issues promptlyReview employee expense reports and credit card reconciliations in accordance with company policiesSupport month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring Accounts Payable transactions are recorded accurately and on timePerform monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliationsProvide documentation and support for internal and external auditsRespond to audit and stakeholder inquiries with accuracy and professionalismEnsure financial transactions comply with company policies, procedures and applicable accounting standardsIdentify opportunities to improve AP processes, controls and efficienciesLead or participate in projects that improve Accounts Payable and broader Finance operationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial processes are connected,
