The ideal candidate will be skilled in the installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of a wide variety of vertical transportation equipment, including elevators, escalators, and lifts. Candidates must meet the specific licensing requirements for the locations in which they intend to work.Key Responsibilities:Install, maintain, repair, and modernize elevator systems and componentsTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment complies with local, state, and federal safety codesDiagnose issues and perform necessary adjustments or part replacementsMaintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spentRespond to emergency service calls,



including being on-call during off-hoursFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environmentCoordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients on job status and requirementsRequired Qualifications:EDMA/ EDMT - Elevating Devices Mechanic - Class A or TM inimum 4-5 years of experience in elevator installation, repair, maintenance, and modernization.Completion of an accredited elevator apprenticeship program or equivalent trainingStrong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprints, and applicable safety codesAbility to work at heights and in enclosed spacesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailValid driver's license and reliable transportationPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and tools (up to 75 lbs)Must be able to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periodsComfortable working at various heights and in varying weather conditionsCompensation:Pay will be determined basedon experience and licensureOvertime opportunities available
