Senior QA Automation Tester – Playwright

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Tester with strong expertise in test automation, Playwright, Azure DevOps, and enterprise application testing . The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust automated testing solutions while supporting quality assurance across complex web applications and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scenarios .
- Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright .
- Develop automated UI and end-to-end tests for enterprise web applications.
- Perform automated regression testing and ensure test assets are reliable and maintainable.
- Test APIs, integrations, and complex application workflows .
- Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution.
- Use Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, CI/CD and release support.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, product teams, and other QA professionals in an Agile environment .
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.
- Communicate testing results, risks, issues,



and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing test automation solutions .
- Solid hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation.
- Experience designing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and regression test suites .
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and release support.
- Strong experience with test planning, test execution, defect management, and Agile methodologies .
- Experience testing enterprise web applications, APIs, and system integrations .
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in healthcare and/or public-sector environments is an asset.
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare initiatives such as CHRIS/HPG is an asset.
