This role is ideal for a hands-on tradesperson who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a shop environment focused on quality, safety, and craftsmanship.You will be responsible for machining and repairing components using manual equipment to support a wide range of industrial and mechanical applications.Responsibilities:Set up and operate milling machines and lathesInterpret technical drawings, blueprints,



and work instructionsProduce precision components to exact specificationsEnsure all work is completed in compliance with safety standardsAssist with machine setup for production processesSupport and guide apprentice team members as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentRequirements:Minimum 5 years of machining experienceStrong understanding of milling and lathe operationsAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsMachinist trade certification preferred (3rd and 4th year apprentices will be considered)Knowledge of materials and machining processesCNC experience is considered an assetStrong commitment to safety and quality workmanshipPreferred:Red Seal Machinist certification (or equivalent experience)Experience in industrial repair or custom fabrication environments
