Laurus is recruiting a passionate Karate Instructor to guide young learners at Kells Academy in NDG, Montreal. Teach karate fundamentals to students from Kindergarten to Grade 4 every Thursday. Over a 9-week period, this after-school program focuses on introducing children to karate in a supportive and enjoyable setting. The instructor will help students develop essential skills while maintaining a fun atmosphere through structured classes and engaging activities tailored to varying age groups and abilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a one-hour structured karate class weekly
- Teach basic techniques and coordination exercises
- Adapt lessons for different ages and experience levels
- Incorporate games and fun activities into lessons
- Promote respect, discipline, and teamwork values Requirements:
- Proven experience in karate or related martial arts
- Background in working with young children preferred
