Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Services Coordinator plays a central role in the implementation, coordination, and clinical and operational supervision of FNWSQ’s support services, notably the telephone helpline and the Mobility for the Future program.
The successful candidate will play a key role in structuring services, developing partnerships, and supervising support staff, while ensuring the monitoring of service quality and activity documentation.
Main responsibilities
1. Service development and coordination
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the helpline and support services;
- Participate in developing and updating intervention, referral, support, and follow-up protocols;
- Ensure the rollout of the « Mobilité pour l’avenir » program.
1. Team supervision
- Supervise, support, and guide the team of intervention workers and support agents;
- Promote intervention practices that are culturally safe and tailored to the realities of First Nations women.
1. Networking and partnerships
- Maintain and develop a network of partners and resources;
- Ensure effective and appropriate referrals and support based on the needs of women.
1. Follow-up and documentation
- Ensure proper documentation of interventions, statistical tracking, and the production of reports and evaluations;
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and accountability.
Candidate profile
Education and experience
- Degree/Training in social work, psychoeducation, psychology, intervention, or a related field;
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience;
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Other requirements
- Experience in service coordination and team supervision/management;
- Knowledge of an Indigenous language is an asset;
- Fluency in spoken French and English;
- Strong skills in communication, organization, and teamwork;
- Robust sensitivity to First Nations realities, values, and cultures;
- Ability to work independently and remotely in a confidential environment.
Working conditions
- Full-time contract position (35 hours/week);
- Salary to be discussed based on experience and education;
- Office located in Wendake, primarily remote with occasional in-office presence
