We’re currently looking for a skilled and safety-oriented Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team and help bring more great projects to life.

What you'll do

- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Utilize layout tools such as tape, ruler, square etc. to position parts prior to welding.
- Selecting the appropriate tools and equipment for the preparation and welding of various metals.
- Operate equipment such as, pneumatic tools, power tools (e.g. hand grinders, drills), various hand tools and metal shaping machines to produce final product.
- Check shop drawings/sketches for accuracy before welding parts to create assemblies.
- Interpret and continually refer to shop drawings to determine material requirements and measurements.
- Perform different types of welding processes (GMAW, TIG, resistance welding etc.) in flat, vertical or overhead positions as required the fabrication process.
- Operate other machines such as shear and brake machine as needed.
- Perform routine housekeeping duties in the shop as directed by the production supervisor.

What You Bring (and if you don’t have it all – take the chance and still apply!)
- Minimum five-year experience in custom fabrication.
- Experience with the forming and welding of aluminum and steel.
- Experience with the preparation and fitting of sheet metal, aluminum & steel materials.
- Fluent in the English language (reading, written, spoken).
- Able to demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Easily read, evaluate,



and respond to product specifications and drawings, and perform normal math calculations.
- Familiar and comfortable with equipment, grinders and other hand tools.
- Familiar and comfortable with manufacturing and welding machinery and operating equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Ability to handle changing schedules and priorities, with high level prioritization skills.
- Strong work ethic and organizational planning skills with attention to detail preferred.
- Regularly required to stand/sit, talk/hear, stoop, climb, lift, balance, kneel and use of hands/fingers to operate tools, machinery and materials.
- Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50lbs) may be required.
