Job Summary:

As a member of the Signs Team, you will support the preparation, organization, delivery, installation, message setup, removal, maintenance, documentation, and return of all box-style mobile sign inventory, equipment, and materials. These signs are portable message boards that use interchangeable lettering panels, rather than electronic or LED displays.

You will assist in coordinating sign operations with the Sales Team, Logistics Team, and on-site contacts to ensure smooth and efficient installations at all client locations. Over time, you may provide operational guidance, training, and mentorship to team members working within Glow’s Sign Division.

You will ensure all signs are delivered and installed properly, in excellent condition, and on schedule while maintaining exceptional customer service. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe equipment handling, and the ability to work outdoors in a variety of environments.

Responsibilities

- Install and remove portable box/mobile signs at client locations using proper lifting techniques and installation equipment.
- Set up and change interchangeable letterboard messages quickly and accurately according to order sheets.
- Verify all messages for spelling, layout, and accuracy before leaving the warehouse and after installation.
- Position and secure signs to ensure stability, visibility, and compliance with company standards.
- Follow installation plans and location instructions provided by the Sales Team or clients.
- Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on box signs, frames, panels,



and lettering tracks.
- Replace damaged letters, panels, frames, or structural components as needed.
- Clean signs and maintain their appearance to ensure professional presentation at client locations.
- Safely load, pack, transport, and unload signs and related equipment.
- Ensure all signage and components are handled carefully and secured during transport to prevent damage or loss.
- Assist with inventory tracking and ensure all materials are returned to the warehouse after sign removal.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures while installing signs, loading equipment, or working near roadways and parking areas.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Adhere to company safety policies to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Inspect signs before dispatch to ensure they are clean, complete, and free from damage.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, removals, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Complete installation reports, job sheets, and documentation as required.
- Communicate with clients or site contacts to confirm placement and installation details.




- Represent the company professionally while on job sites and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sign installation, general labour, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and follow installation instructions and job sheets.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physically active work.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when setting up letterboard messaging.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills when working with team members and clients.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience driving trailers or cube vans considered an asset.
- Availability Monday–Friday, with flexibility for early mornings or occasional extended hours during peak periods.
